S2 Custom 24 reinterpretira originalni PRS dizajn sa pojednostavljenom konstrukcijom i modernom estetikom, zadržavajući osnovne karakteristike koje definišu model. Javorov top sa asimetričnim zaobljenjem postavljen je na telo od mahagonija, pružajući uravnoteženu rezonancu i sustain po kojima je PRS poznat.

U srcu instrumenta nalaze se USA-wound 85/15 magneti i petostepeni blade selektor, pružajući istu svestranu paletu zvukova kao i vodeći Custom 24 model – od punog humbucker drive-a do jasnih split-coil tonova. Vrat od mahagonija dužine 25 inča ima Pattern Regular profil, a palisander hvataljka je ukrašena PRS bird inlejima. Hardver uključuje PRS Phase III open-back mehanizme sa mesinganim osovinama, koji omogućavaju glatko štimovanje i dodaju moderan pečat instrumentu.
