SE Silver Sky predstavlja profinjenu verziju originalnog John Mayer signature modela, predstavljenog 2018. godine. Izrađena sa telom od topole, bolt on vratom od javora i palisander hvataljkom, pruža poznat osećaj sviranja uz prepoznatljive PRS dizajnerske detalje, uključujući bird inleje i obrnutu glavu. Vrat sa 22 praga prati originalni 635JM profil, sa skalom dužine 25,5 inča i radijusom od 8,5 inča, nudeći glatku svirljivost i udobnost inspirisanu vintage instrumentima.

U središtu njenog tona nalaze se tri 635JM S single coil magneta, dizajnirana za jasnoću, toplinu i dinamičan odziv, sposobna za čistu artikulaciju kao i izraženiji, grublji karakter. Hardver uključuje dvotačkasti čelični tremolo, mehanizme u vintage stilu i nut od sintetičke kosti, što obezbeđuje stabilno štimovanje i izražajnu svirku. 635JM Pickups

The “JM” in JM635 refers to John Mayer, because the pickups were developed as part of his signature PRS Silver Sky model. The “635” in JM635 comes from the fact that the pickups / guitar were inspired by two vintage guitars from 1963 and 1964 — effectively they aimed to capture a tone somewhere between those years, so they used “63.5” (rounded to 635) as a nod to that.

Bolt-On Neck

While most PRS core models use set-neck designs, the CE (Classic Electric) line uses a bolt-on maple neck. This construction gives the CE guitars a bit more brightness and a more Fender-like feal and bite, but still keeping the overall PRS warmth and ergonomic contours.
