Martin HD-28, legendarni dreadnought akustični model, ostaje veran klasičnom dizajnu koji je učinio D-28 bezvremenim remek-delom. Odlikuje se ukrasnom ivicom od riblje kosti i Martinovim scalloped X-bracing, što ga izdvaja od drugih modela. Scalloped bracing poboljšava rezonancu i odziv gitare, dajući joj prepoznatljiv karakter.
