Designing the Legacy, the guys at G&L have taken their zeal for innovation in check and simply crafted a gorgeous classic spicy Strat, a timeless classic that will last forever. But 3 American branded single-coil pickups on Alnico 5 magnets give it a very special breath, transparent, clean, readable and at the same time with a characteristic percussive, slightly nibbling attack. Another gift from Leo Fender is the Dual Fulcrum tremolo, soft, pliable and completely uncompromising in terms of keeping the tune. A fantastic instrument for live, dynamic music, from indie, pop and country to grunge, rock, shoegaze.

Compared to the classic strats of the 60s and 70s, Legacy has a tighter, thicker bass and lower mids, which makes the sound more modern and richer in general. But in case you want an authentic sound of the golden era of rock and roll, there is a PTB system on board, that is, in addition to the traditional tone potentiometer on the guitar, there is a bass control knob that allows you to somewhat "dry" the sound and make it even more glassy. 

The Tribute series is the youngest in the G&L lineup. However, they totally nailed it in terms build quality and, importantly, original USA components. Pickups and bridges on all guitars of the Tribute series are exactly the same as on top American instruments.
