It is highly special instrument. Leo Fender worked on it's design from 1954, when he created the Strat, literally until his last day. The absolute pinnacle of Strat evolution: completely silent high-power Z-coil pickups that retain true single-coil sound and dynamics, a top-end G&L Dual-Fulcrum tremolo, a tone block with access to all seven pickup configurations and separate treble and bass control.

As a result, we have an incredibly flexible instrument with a unique, majestic sound, restrained, but ready to break into a steep solo peak at any moment, ergonomics recognized as the standard by three generations of guitarists and an incredible legacy of a man who turned the entire world guitar industry upside down.

The Tribute series is the youngest in the G&L lineup. However, they totally nailed it in terms build quality and, importantly, original USA components. Pickups and bridges on all guitars of the Tribute series are exactly the same as on top American instruments.
