The PRS SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Piezo in Orange Tiger Smokeburst combines the classic PRS Custom 24 design with added versatility from a semi-hollow body and onboard piezo system. Its maple top and mahogany body produce a balanced tone with extra resonance and warmth, while the single F-hole gives the guitar a more open, airy character without sacrificing sustain.
Equipped with PRS 85/15 “S” humbuckers and coil-splitting, it handles everything from clean blues and funk tones to heavier rock sounds. The LR Baggs/PRS piezo bridge system adds convincing acoustic-style tones, making it useful for live players who need both electric and acoustic sounds from one instrument. Separate magnetic and piezo outputs also allow flexible stage or recording setups.
The 25-inch scale length, Wide Thin maple neck, and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard make it comfortable for fast lead work, modern progressive styles, and versatile session playing. The Orange Tiger Smokeburst finish highlights the figured maple veneer with the distinctive carved-top look PRS is known for.
Every guitar in our store is completely checked and set up by our guitar luthiers so that the guitar is easy to play yet without buzz. And if you have any special wishes regarding setup - tell us (or specify) when making an order and we will be happy to make a perfect guitar for you :)
Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
