The PRS SE CE24 Standard Stoptail in Vintage Cherry is a modern, no-nonsense PRS built for players who want classic feel, fast response, and versatile tone in a simple, reliable package.
At its core, it combines an all-mahogany body with a bolt-on maple neck, giving you a tight, punchy attack with plenty of warmth and midrange focus. The satin finish lets the wood breathe more naturally, which adds resonance and also gives it a smooth, broken-in feel right out of the box.
The guitar is powered by PRS 85/15 “S” humbuckers, which are designed to be clear and modern — they deliver strong lows, articulate highs, and enough output for gain without turning muddy. With the push/pull tone control, you can split the coils and get brighter, more single-coil-like tones when needed, making it surprisingly flexible for a 2-humbucker setup.
The stoptail bridge is one of its biggest strengths: it keeps tuning extremely stable, improves sustain, and makes the whole guitar feel solid and direct under your hands. No trem system, no complications — just consistent performance every time you pick it up.
Every guitar in our store is completely checked and set up by our guitar luthiers so that the guitar is easy to play yet without buzz. And if you have any special wishes regarding setup - tell us (or specify) when making an order and we will be happy to make a perfect guitar for you :)
Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
