Designing the Legacy, the guys at G&L did their best to suppress their urge for innovation and "simply" crafted a gorgeous classic spicy Strat, a timeless classic that will last forever. 3 G&l Alnico 5 single coil pickups give it a special voice. Transparent and clean yet with a distinct percussive, nibbling attack.

Another gift from Leo Fender is the Dual Fulcrum tremolo which is soft, pliable and completely uncompromising in terms of keeping the tune. Compared to the classic strats of the 60s and 70s, Legacy has a tighter, thicker bass and lower mids. But in case you want an authentic sound of the golden era of rock and roll, there is separate bass control knob that allows you to somewhat dry out the sound and make it even more glassy.

The Tribute series is the youngest in the G&L lineup. However, they totally nailed it in terms of build quality and, which is even cooler, using original USA components. Pickups and bridges on all guitars of the Tribute series are exactly the same as on top American instruments.
