G&L Tribute ASAT Classic Sonic Blue Poplar MP
The ASAT Classic Alnico is a tele in the most classic configuration, a real piece of the 50's in the G&L collection. Alnico pickups, classic bridge, maximum respect for history - all for the sake of getting as close as possible to early designs of Leo Fender inspired by country and bluegrass musicians.
The classic tele is a much more versatile instrument than is commonly believed - due to the gigantic dynamic range you do not need any gadgets - the whole range of emotions and timbres is extracted from it simply by using the right hand. That is why this guitar is still a favorite among patriarchs of old-school blues, the blues where emotion is valued above all else.
The Tribute series is the youngest in the G&L lineup. However, they totally nailed it in terms of build quality and, which is even cooler, using original USA components. Pickups and bridges on all guitars of the Tribute series are exactly the same as on top American instruments.
Every guitar in our store is completely checked and set up by our guitar luthiers so that the guitar is easy to play yet without buzz. And if you have any special wishes regarding setup - tell us (or specify) when making an order and we will be happy to make a perfect guitar for you :)
Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
