The Sigma GJM-SGE is heavily inspired by the classic Gibson J-200, also known as the Gibson SJ-200 or EJ-200, a grand jumbo style acoustic guitar famous for its size and powerful, resonant sound. Big, bold, and full of character, the Grand Jumbo 14-fret body hits hard with deep lows, rich mids, and clear highs that cut through any mix. The solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides give it warmth and power, perfect for strumming big chords or letting fingerstyle shine. It’s a guitar that feels alive under your hands.
The neck is low profile and comfortable, letting your hands move freely, with a slightly narrower 1 11/16” nut for easy playability. Bone nut and saddle help the notes sing while the Micarta fingerboard and bridge give it a classic, refined look. Chrome diecast tuners stay reliable, and the Sigma preamp with tuner keeps plugged-in tones honest and natural. Finished in satin sunburst.
Every guitar in our store is completely checked and set up by our guitar luthiers so that the guitar is easy to play yet without buzz. And if you have any special wishes regarding setup - tell us (or specify) when making an order and we will be happy to make a perfect guitar for you :)
Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
