The Vintage V6MR pairs the look of a seasoned, road-worn guitar with modern upgrades for dependable, everyday performance. Its Eastern poplar body and contoured shape provide a balanced feel and resonant tone, while the hard rock maple neck with a ‘soft C’ profile offers familiar comfort and fast playability.
A trio of Wilkinson WVS Alnico V pickups deliver a wide tonal range clear highs, defined mids, and warm low-end response with hum-cancelling in positions 2 and 4. The Wilkinson WVC vibrato system features a stagger-drilled block and steel saddles for improved intonation, sustain, and smooth return to pitch. Controls include a five-way switch, master volume, and two tone knobs - one uniquely assigned to the bridge pickup.
Wilkinson WJ55 E-Z-Lok tuners ensure stability with staggered posts for optimal string tension and vibrato feel. Finished in a distressed style, the V6MR arrives with the character of a well-played instrument, ready for the next chapter.
Every guitar in our store is completely checked and set up by our guitar luthiers so that the guitar is easy to play yet without buzz. And if you have any special wishes regarding setup - tell us (or specify) when making an order and we will be happy to make a perfect guitar for you :)
Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
