The Sigma GTCE-2-SB is a sleek acoustic electric guitar whose design clearly tips its hat to the elegant style made famous by Taylor Guitars. With its Grand OM body, smooth cutaway and classic sunburst finish, it has that familiar modern acoustic look that somehow manages to feel both fresh and timeless at the same time.
The solid Sitka spruce top gives it a bright and clear voice with plenty of detail, while the tilia back and sides keep the tone balanced and versatile. In other words, it sounds just as comfortable playing gentle fingerstyle as it does when you decide to strum like you are closing the final song of the night.
The mahogany neck has a comfortable low profile shape and a slightly wider nut width, giving your fingers a bit more room to move around. Quality touches like the bone nut and saddle, chrome diecast tuners and the Fishman Flex electronics make sure the guitar is ready whether you are playing unplugged at home or plugged in on stage.
Every guitar in our store is completely checked and set up by our guitar luthiers so that the guitar is easy to play yet without buzz. And if you have any special wishes regarding setup - tell us (or specify) when making an order and we will be happy to make a perfect guitar for you :)
Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
