The Sigma DTC-28HE is a dreadnought acoustic electric guitar that blends classic design with a few elegant details that quickly catch the eye. With its D-14 fret body, cutaway and polished gloss finish with aging toner, it has that familiar big acoustic look that feels just as comfortable on stage as it does in the living room during a late evening playing session.
The solid Sitka spruce top gives the guitar a clear and powerful voice, while the tilia back and sides keep the tone balanced and warm. As a dreadnought, it naturally delivers strong bass and plenty of volume, making it great for confident strumming while still handling lighter playing with ease.
The mahogany neck has a comfortable low profile shape and a slightly wider nut width, giving your fingers a bit more room to move. Details like the bone nut and saddle help with sustain and tuning stability, while the Grover open gear tuners with butterbean knobs add a tasteful vintage touch.
The “H” in the name stands for Herringbone, the classic decorative pattern used in the binding along the edges of the body, giving the guitar a traditional and slightly upscale look.
Every guitar in our store is completely checked and set up by our guitar luthiers so that the guitar is easy to play yet without buzz. And if you have any special wishes regarding setup - tell us (or specify) when making an order and we will be happy to make a perfect guitar for you :)
Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
