The G&L Fallout is a grunge-fueled reincarnation of Leo Fender's 1983 classic, the SC-2, which in turn was inspired by early '80s post-punk. The mahogany body and signature Saddle Lock bridge squeeze a lot of sustain out of the small, nimble body, while the bolt-on neck helps maintain a bright percussive attack.

For maximum tonal variety, two signature American G&L pickups are on board: pretty old-school P-90 single-coil in the neck for a vintage, warm sound and a meaty, dense humbucker in the bridge with the ability to cut off to a single-coil with push-pull switch.

The Tribute series is the youngest in the G&L lineup. However, they totally nailed it in terms build quality and, importantly, original USA components. Pickups and bridges on all guitars of the Tribute series are exactly the same as on top American instruments.
