Manuel Rodriguez Signature Legacy Maestro Senior

Manuel Rodriguez Signature Legacy Maestro Senior
Hand-carved in Esquivias, Toledo, this maestro-grade classical guitar is crafted to order from the Rodríguez family’s own reserve of tonewoods—air-dried for over half a century. A vintage-bone nut and saddle, traditional Spanish heel, and hand varnish let every note bloom with unmistakable depth and clarity.
Honestly words can't describe the way it looked in real life. When Manuel Rodriguez brought this guitar to the shop and I first saw it, i was completely stunned. The first thought I had was "Wow, those inlays and bindings look like Mayan jewelry."
There's a lot of bindings and inlays, however it's not over the top, and it has been done very tastefully so that it doesn't poke you in the eye. Really, the intricate small details showcase how experienced the luthiery is.
The sound was very different from what you usually hear, even from top grade instruments. It had all of the richness in sound you expect, but there was some sort of depth to it, which made it sound like the bass was ever-present, while the rest of the tonal frequencies just floated on top of the bassy bed, creating a perfect contrast.
Fewer than a dozen leave the workshop each year; yours will take a few months, and it’s worth every day of the wait.
Every guitar in our store is completely checked and set up by our guitar luthiers so that the guitar is easy to play yet without buzz. And if you have any special wishes regarding setup - tell us (or specify) when making an order and we will be happy to make a perfect guitar for you :)
Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
