Acoustic Union Lemon Aid — oil for fretboard and bridge care.
Why use lemon oil at all?
If you’ve ever seen a fretboard begin to fade or crack from drying out — you already know the answer. Lemon Aid helps the wood “breathe”, preserves the fiber structure, and thoroughly cleans the surface from dirt and oils that naturally build up as you play.
It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy film. It brings out the grain, refreshes the color, and leaves a subtle, natural scent. But most importantly — it nourishes and protects the wood from drying and micro-cracks that can appear even during careful storage.
Like all Acoustic Union accessories, Lemon Aid was developed in collaboration with professional guitar luthiers. And that means one thing: only ingredients that truly work. Nothing extra.
Perfect for dark, unfinished woods like rosewood, ebony, and others.Not recommended for light woods (like maple) or lacquered surfaces.
How to use:

Remove the strings.

Apply a few drops of oil to a microfiber cloth.

Gently rub the oil into the fretboard and/or bridge.

Let it sit for a few minutes to absorb.

Wipe away any excess with the dry side of the cloth.

If the oil is fully absorbed — repeat if needed.
Use every time you change strings — or at least twice a year.
Your fretboard will thank you — and even years later, stay just as smooth and “alive” as it was on day one.

Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
