The Maton 75th Anniversary Diamond Edition is a premium, limited-edition acoustic-electric guitar crafted in Melbourne to celebrate Maton’s 75 years of luthiery. Featuring a “Traditional” body shape - larger than the 808, smaller than a dreadnought - it offers a well-balanced voice ideal for fingerstyle and strumming alike. The top is AAA-grade Sitka spruce, paired with figured Victorian blackwood back and sides for warmth, clarity, and projection.
The neck is Queensland maple with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, providing excellent sustain and smooth playability. A 25.5" scale length, 44.1 mm nut width, and 12″ fingerboard radius ensure comfortable ergonomics. Scalloped X-bracing enhances dynamic response across all registers.
Equipped with the AP5 Pro pickup system, it’s stage- and studio-ready. A gloss Nashville sunburst finish, herringbone binding, and mother-of-pearl diamond headstock inlay complete the aesthetic. This guitar blends refined tonewoods, thoughtful design, and Maton’s signature craftsmanship into a collectible, professional-grade instrument.
Every guitar in our store is completely checked and set up by our guitar luthiers so that the guitar is easy to play yet without buzz. And if you have any special wishes regarding setup - tell us (or specify) when making an order and we will be happy to make a perfect guitar for you :)
Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.
For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
