The SE Kingfisher boasts a modern signature sound that is highly noteworthy. The dual humbucking pickups provide a sparkling top end with a high midrange growl, and offer the Kingfisher a distinct personality that can cut through the mix while maintaining the band's coherence with its sweet warm fundamental tone.

Designed in PRS’s Maryland shop, the Kingfisher features an offset Swamp Ash body and neck-through construction that provide superior sustain and a balanced tone. The 24 fret maple/walnut neck allows for limitless possibilities for your creativity and sonic palette, and the 34” scale length makes this a comfortable bass for both experienced and novice players.

The Kingfisher (4B ‘H’) pickups are deep, thick-sounding humbuckers with distinct top-end clarity and punch. These modern pickups possess an old-school tonal character that delivers that huge “clacky” tone missing from some modern basses.

Also, you have to keep in mind that wood is a living material. Guitar’s geometry changes a little over time, adjusting to temperature and humidity, so there is no setup that can last forever. To save you a headache, we have a free setup service for our instruments! If you feel that something is off you can bring it to us so that we can return everything to it’s perfect original state.

For online orders we manually pack each guitar into a ton of wraps and carton and also have full insurance for all our shippings. So that you wouldn’t worry that something might happen on the way.
